Technical Consultant – Banking Systems, London

  • Provide technical and functional consulting expertise in relation to the installation and use of the Our Client’s Banking System for their UK and International Clients
  • Be a key player in the company’s pre-sales efforts, responding to RFIs/RFPs, explaining the technical aspects of the application in presentations and workshops, and discussing requirements with prospects, and existing clients
  • Develop and maintain a good knowledge of the infrastructure configurations used to run the Our Client’s Banking System, so as to provide advice to our prospects and clients on the most effective configuration to install and operate
  • Maintain and develop relationships with our existing clients on the basis of your professional knowledge and expertise as well your deep understanding of the product and its capabilities

 

Technical Consultant – Banking Systems, London Position profile: 

  • Have a university degree or equivalent (3-5 years after A-levels) with an business or IT background, and several years professional experience in the banking or financial sector, preferably including the implementation of packaged IT solutions
  • Have a proven ability to rapidly understand business, functional and technical issues, and to apply knowledge and creativity to finding the appropriate solution(s)
  • Working with partners develop a good understanding of our key partner solutions, and how these are integrated, and interoperate with, the Our Client’s Banking System
  • Welcome the possibility of acquiring a deep and extensive knowledge of the technical (and to a lesser extent the functional) aspects, across our solution components
  • Comfortable in discussions on business processes, operations and IT issues in a financial services context
  • Knowledge of the Our Client’s Banking System would be an advantage, as would knowledge of wealth management
  • Fluent in written and spoken English Other languages would be an asset, especially French
